From Industrial Engineer to Real Estate Sales Professional (PART 7 – Doing Real Estate For Good)

Tulad ng lagi kong sinasabi sa mga friends ko, “Kung yayaman ako, gusto ko SAMA-SAMA TAYO!”

I already took the biggest risk. Hindi na talaga ako pumasok sa employment even if I graduated as an Industrial Engineer with flying colors. I already experienced to enjoy life as YOUNG as possible. And more than that, here in Real Estate Industry (through DRIVEN Marketing Group Inc.), it is where I first experienced the TRUE MEANING OF SUCCESS, where SUCCESS is equal to Financial Rewards plus Fulfillment (where Fulfillment comes from Giving).

All my life I’ve been receiving (receiving love, money, time etc. from my family and relatives). As I immersed myself in the Service Industry (Real Estate), dito ko naranasan na ang sarap pala ng feeling of GIVING to other people. Every time I will consummate a sale (I’m endorsing all my clients to my co-agents), I’m so happy kasi I know 3 individuals ang natutulungan ko: CLIENTS, DRIVENITES (my co-agents) and eventually MYSELF. Punung-puno ang puso ko seeing Filipinos na matupad ang kanilang dream na magkaroon ng sariling bahay, my co-Drivenites na kumita ng money through my endorsed clients, and myself – Enjoying FREEDOM and Celebrating LIFE. I was able to fill myself up way back 2013 (where I became part of Top Sellers kaya nakapag-ipon ako para sa sarili ko) kaya mas madali na sakin magbigay sa iba.

My life is still a work in progress but I’m so happy seeing better results in my Health, Relationship, Wealth and especially, LIFE PURPOSE. Ang TOP OF MIND ko na lang ngayon is to TAKE CARE OF ALL MY SALESPERSONS AS I SEE THEM CAPABLE OF REACHING THEIR DREAMS THROUGH THIS REAL ESTATE CAREER. As of the moment kasi, hindi naman ako breadwinner, unlike most of my salespersons, so sabi ko hinding-hindi ako papayag na di sila kikita dito. I don’t want na kung ano man ang status nila ngayon sa buhay nila ay maging ganyan pa din 3, 5, 10 years from now.

Kaya I continuously grow myself by attending a lot of seminars, reading books, attending workshops, listening to audio books para pag nag grow ako MAS MATUTULUNGAN KO SILA. Kailangan ko mag-grow so that I can lead them and lift them higher.

What’s effective sa leadership ko is CARE. Care is a verb, not a noun. I care for people. I care for their families. I care for their dreams na maging reality. Lahat ng pwede kong gawin at maitutulong ko sa kanila, I will give. Kasi I know God is fair enough to bless me as I bless other people.

True enough, nagbunga ang lahat ng ito because I CARED ENOUGH. I’m very proud that in my journey of being a Real Estate Broker, I was able to multiply myself as I develop all my salespersons. The products of this are my 2 high-caliber Real Estate Professionals in the names of Iryne Canonigo and Rovin Tacuyog, who were awarded as Top 1 and Top 2 respectively of DRIVEN Marketing Group Inc. last December 2014. I’m fulfilled seeing both of them being part of the Millionaire’s Club (earning at least P1M per year) and onti-onting nabili ang mga dreams nila. Kung last 2013, I was so happy being part of the Top Sellers, last 2014 (same Annual Awards Night), I was teary-eyed na parang proud parent as I see my kids went up the stage to get their awards as the fruit of their labor.

Ngayon, I’m very clear that I WANT TO HAVE 20 SALESPERSONS EARNING AT LEAST 1 MILLION PESOS PER YEAR. More than the money are the dreams na mabibili nila at mae-experience through that. More than the money are the lives that will be changed because of that.

Sinong hindi magagalak if you can help Filipinos na magkaroon ng bahay and kasabay na maging instrument na magbago ang kanilang buhay? Sinong hindi magko-commit sa ganitong responsibility kung nakikita mong may salespersons kang ginagawa ang kanilang best to earn here to give their families the life they deserve? Sinong hindi magsstay for GOOD dito sa Real Estate Industry kung alam mong maraming taong umaasa sayo dahil ikaw ang solusyon sa kanilang problema? Sinong hindi mamomotivate to do everything you can kung alam mong ang ginagawa mo ngayon ay for your future? Sinong hindi masasayahan sa pagtulong sa kapwa habang tinutulungan mo ang iyong sarili? People may not understand where I am coming from. Ganun din naman ako before. Pero…. you will understand din why ganito ako ka-PASSIONATE with my Real Estate Career / Real Estate Business if you are already in the space of GIVING dahil punung-puno ka na as a person.

I’m only 24 right now, pero I’m so fortunate that I was able to expose myself to a lot of Personal Mastery Seminars ng mas maaga. Thanks to my extremely good-looking Life Coach, Russ Juson and to my handsome Kuya, Dj Dimaliuat for journeying with me. At a very young age, I’m so fulfilled! I’m so giving. Hindi ako ganito before! Talagang nagbago ang buhay ko! Turning point talaga ang Year 2012 for me. Some people binibiro pa nila ako na kung kumayod parang may pamilyang binubuhay (Haha!).

At this very moment, I’m about to finish my FIRST EVER BLOG POST and I’m SO PROUD of myself! Yehey! Kayang-kaya ko naman pala! Ayan o sobrang haba na! Haha!

I already shared with you a PIECE OF ME. And I’m continue LIVING MY LIFE to inspire more people and show na in your own little ways, you can affect other people’s lives – just CARE ENOUGH. Mababaw lang kaligayahan ko. Sa maliliit na bagay, you can CELEBRATE LIFE. Kasi if you’re grateful with small things, it will multiply. That’s what I’ve learned: to CHOOSE to BE GRATEFUL NO MATTER WHAT.

My life is not perfect. My parents are separated but they NEVER forget their responsibilities as our parents that’s why napalaki kami ng maayos – FULL OF LOVE (Kudos to Daddy and Mommy. Super love ko kayo!) BUT I know this is the perfect structure for our family because kaming lahat ay HAPPY.

Hindi naging madali ang journey ko, especially 2012. But super thankful ako na it ALL happened. Hindi ko mararanasan ang ganito kasayang buhay, kung hindi ko naranasan ang ganung paghihirap. I’m so HAPPY and FULFILLED din because I was able to fix those things, those relationships na kailangan kong i-fix. Yun pala ang nagho-hold back sakin to soar higher.

Kaya nga if something happened to me today, I have no regrets.

Ikaw, if you only have 24 hours to live, WHAT are you going to do? Are you going to LIVE THE LIFE YOU ARE LIVING NOW or ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT DIFFERENTLY?
